INSIDE INDUSTRY
AMN Healthcare receives top workplace award
AMN Healthcare Services, Inc., an innovator in healthcare workforce solutions and largest provider of staffing services in the United States, has received recognition as one of the Achievers 50 Most Engaged WorkplacesTM in the United States. The Achievers list is an annual award recognizing top employers who consistently display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces, and this is the second year in a row that AMN has received this award.

"It is a tremendous honor for AMN to be recognized by Achievers again this year alongside an impressive roster of other companies," stated AMN's Chief Talent Officer, Julie Fletcher. "Team member engagement is a critical component of our culture and corporate goals, and we take great effort in evaluating and continuously improving programs and initiatives, including the addition of enhanced recognition and mentorship programs in 2013. Our inclusion on this list is a source of pride for AMN and, most importantly, shows that our efforts are making a meaningful impact on our team members on a daily basis."

"The Achievers 50 Most Engaged WorkplacesTM understand that employee engagement is not just a buzz word, but that engaged employees provide businesses with a unique competitive advantage. Companies that focus on employee success have better engagement and alignment with business objectives and company values," said Achievers CEO, Patrick D. Quirk. "These companies serve as role models for other businesses to engage their own employees and build success."

Applicants were evaluated based upon the Eight Elements of Employee EngagementTM: Communication, Leadership, Culture, Rewards & Recognition, Professional & Personal Growth, Accountability & Performance, Vision & Values and Corporate Social Responsibility and reviewed by a panel of 14 judges. This year's panel was comprised of various academics and thought leaders on employee engagement, including representation from organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), and Human Capital Institute (HCI) and Northern California HR Association.

AMN Healthcare will be honored alongside other recipients of the Achievers 50 Most Engaged WorkplacesTM Award at an awards gala on April 2, 2014 at The Fairmont in San Francisco.
