Asia-Pacific Biotechnology Research (APB Research) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal. We aim to publish original research and review articles across the multi-disciplinary field of biotechnology, highlighting how we can harness cellular and biomolecular processes to develop technologies and products that help improve our lives and the health of our planet.  

Biotechnology research in the Asia-Pacific region is expected to expand rapidly because of improvements in healthcare infrastructure, supportive government policies, clinical trial services, and epidemiological factors. Areas of particular focus include molecular and cell biology, crop science, micro and long non-coding RNA, nanoparticles and bioengineering, microfluidic devices and superhydrophobicity, photoproductivity, thermodynamics, and microbial biotechnology.
